I RAN IN 2012 FOR THE POSITION OF DIRECTOR FOR THE SAN MIGUEL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT. A JOB CHANGE MEANT I HAD TO WITHDRAW. HOWEVER, SIGNIFICANT ISSUES ARE AGAIN EFFECTING THE DISTRICT IN 2016, SO I AM CONSIDERING SEEKING A DIRECTOR'S POSITION IN 2016

I am always busy.

In my free time, I enjoy doing things around the house, camping, Disneyland when we have the time and Aztec sports, especially basketball. We are Season Basketball and Football ticket holders and I also go to Vegas each year for the MWC Championships.

In April 2009, I did file for the vacant Sheriff's position. I felt it was unfair to appoint someone to fill a mid-term vacancy who was already a declared candidate. However, the Board of Supervisors picked the Undersheriff. He has since won the election for the next Sheriff in june 2010. (Click here for more details)

I'm a true San Diego native! I was raised in Lemon Grove, attended Mt. Miguel High School and am still in the east county area of San Diego.

Our fun family activities include camping, boating in both the ocean, bay and the Colorado River, and a vast array of home improvement projects.
